Business Development Executive – Software Sales

Job Description

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, and online platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to provide suitable IT solutions and services.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and business discussions to convert leads into projects.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, contracts, and project estimation documents.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and successful deal closure.
  • Maintain sales pipelines, CRM records, and regular follow-up activities to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities and improve sales strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Applications, IT, or related field.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in Business Development or IT Sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in lead generation, client acquisition, and sales closure.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of IT services, software development, or SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience in handling domestic and international clients is preferred.
